Patricia Quinn Ford has practiced law at O’Keefe Lyons & Hynes, LLC
since 1999 and is presently of counsel to the firm. She concentrates her practice in state and local
taxation. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1972,
with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Psychology.
While attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Ms.
Ford was a Legal Writing Instructor and also worked as a law
clerk for Philip H. Corboy & Associates.
In 1978 Ms. Ford graduated from Loyola and received a Leadership
and Service Award. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar and
the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois
in the same year. Ms. Ford clerked for Justice Robert J. Downing,
then the Presiding Judge of the Appellate Court - First District.
She then joined the law firm of Tenney & Bentley LLC,
where she worked on insurance defense, commercial and appellate
matters.
In addition, Ms. Ford serves as president of the North Shore
Ulster Project, an Irish-American youth exchange peace program.
